My Heirloom Memoirs

....is a writing course that affords the opportunity to do more than recount your memories.   It allows you to make peace with your memories.

....is the spiritual practice of writing, specifically as it pertains to who you were at an earlier time and who you have become in the course of the journey.

....is focused writing that grants the gift of being known.  No one will have to ask, “Who was she/he?”  They will know because you will have told them who you were.

… is about leaving something of inestimable value to your heirs by letting them know you in ways that go beyond mere observation.

… is self-discovery through writing. Writing about your life will evoke a labyrinth of feelings.  This is where surges of personal letting go happen and self-forgiveness begins to take shape.

Each session begins with: (1) the theme of the day being established (2) writing from prompts (3) reading aloud what you wrote (4) engaging in a dialogue about what you wrote and it’s meaning for you.

Heirlooms is your place in the sun. Ralph Waldo Emerson once wrote, “Most people die with their song still inside them.”  My Heirloom Memoirs is your opportunity to sing your song by letting your heirs know what tugged at your heart, called you forth, brought tears of joy and tears of pain.  What more precious gift could you possibly offer?

My Heirloom Memoirs is not about writing the story of your life.
It is about the soul beneath your story.
Whoever you are and whatever your circumstances, trust that your well of truth will find it’s way to the page.
